The use of whirlpool fountains in modern times
Located in Sunderland, southern England, the calybdis whirlpool fountain was created by waterscape sculptor William Pye for the luxury hotel seaham hotel in 2000. Calyptus is a sea demon in Homer's epic Odyssey. He was severely punished by Zeus for stealing Hercules' cattle and sheep, and the lightning that was chopped down turned into a vortex. Later, Pye created similar sculptures in Oman and Campinas, Brazil.
This is the first whirlpool fountain in the world.
In modern times, whirlpool fountains are used in sewage circulation system, which can replace sewage with clean water for recycling and save resources.
Recently, the newly launched "5g public toilet" in Hangzhou, China uses this set of vortex fountain sewage circulation system, which greatly saves the use cost.
