The Stravinsky Fountain in Paris France
Igor Stravinsky fountain pool is located between St. Melly church and Pompidou Center. The colored fountain in the pool is the work of nikid St. fall. Stravinsky fountain is a fountain decorated with 16 fantastic sculptures. Fountain design should be as light as possible, the water is very shallow, and the sculpture composed of light materials such as stainless steel and plastic at the bottom can also be regarded as an original work in the construction history of landscape fountain.
This group of fountains was jointly created by sculptors Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle in 1983 and is located in Stravinsky square next to Pompidou Center in Paris.
Visitors from all over the world who have been to the Pompidou art and culture center in Paris, in addition to being surprised by this strange building, will be deeply impressed by the pool art work called Stravinsky fountain next to it. Because in that pool, people can see all kinds of painted statues, including lying Mermaid, standing bird head figure, winged bird, circling snake, elephant with elongated nose and vibrant skull.
All this is under the action of electric devices, rotating and spraying water. The whole pool is like a children's playground, filled with a festive atmosphere. This set of rotating motorized devices is the work of neorealist artist tangoli and his wife Nicky de Saint Phare. The unsophisticated statues were written by de Saint Phare, and the operation of these statues was due to tangoli's design, which was difficult for waterscape companies to design such artistic works at that time.
