The Standard of Swimming Pool
1. Long pool: 50m. The Olympic Games are held in a 50m long pool. The length of the swimming pool is 50m. The error range is + 0.03m, - 0.00m. This requirement must be met in the range from 30 cm above the water surface to 80 cm below the water surface. The width is 21 meters (for Olympic Games) or 25 meters (for World Swimming Championships). The depth from the water surface to the bottom of the pool should be more than 2 meters, and the walls at both ends of the pool must be perpendicular and parallel.
2. Short pool: 25 meters, for short pool swimming competitions.
Artificial swimming pools are divided into the following types according to the requirements of use:
1. Standard swimming pool: There are auditoriums for competitions and no auditoriums for exercises. The size, specifications and equipment of the pool shall conform to the competition standard. The general pond has a planar size of 21 mX 50 m and a water depth of 1.8 M.
2. Standard diving pool: with and without auditorium. However, the specifications and equipment requirements of the pool meet the competition standards. The plane size is 21.5mXl5m and the water depth is 3.5m-5m. There are diving platforms and springboards.
3. Other types:
(1) The general swimming pool has unlimited plane shape, size and water depth, and the general water depth is about 1.6m.
(2) The planar size of the synchronized swimming pool is 30mX 20m, with 12mXl2m, and the water depth is guaranteed to be more than 3m. Other parts (> 2.5m).
(3) The planar size of the pool is 33mX 21m and the water depth is more than 1.8m.
(4) The plane size of the diving pool is 3.6mX 5M and the water depth is 1.5m-5m.
(5) The planar dimension of the wave pond is longer than 25m and its width is more than 5m. The water depth is about 1.5m.
(6) Playing pool (children's pool, water slide) has unlimited plane shape and size, and the water depth is about lm.
4. Comprehensive pool: The purpose of comprehensive pool is to achieve a multi-purpose pool, increase the area of the pool, change the depth of the pool, set up deep and shallow water areas to meet the requirements of different swimmers. On the scale specifications, the surface and depth of pool larger than or equal to the standard pool specifications are used to meet the requirements of competition and practice. Separate the water surface from the depth (using buoys or water blockades for pools of different ages, swimming skills and swimming events).
