Internal construction of swimming pool

1. If you're going to put it in a concrete pool, pour down the walls and the floor. After the pipes and electrical equipment are in place, the builders will use a concrete mixer to cover the steel formwork set up along the inside of the swimming pool. They grade and smooth the concrete by hand while it is still wet.

For pools of different depths, it is necessary to check that the inclination angles from one end to the other are consistent.

The walls of concrete pools are usually finished with cinder blocks or shotcrete. Take the time to discuss the benefits of each option with your construction contractor.

2. Professional glass fiber pool. Most fiberglass pools are single piece. If you choose a prefabricated fiberglass pool for your yard, it needs to be installed in place with a crane or similar device. After that, builders fill the space around the pool with mud or concrete.

In some cases, the fiberglass lining is installed by spraying the fiberglass material onto the existing frame instead of setting the prefabricated pool as a whole.

3. Install Vinyl Pool with flexible lining. The vinyl liner can only be installed after the concrete base has been poured and dried for 1-2 days. The installer will unfold the entire vinyl panel and extend it to cover the entire inside surface of the pool. They will then connect it by fixing the built-in liner pin to the outer edge and inserting a vacuum nozzle to draw air between the liner and the pool wall.

Before installing the gasket, the builder needs to mark and dig holes in the pool interior for lights, skimmers and any other fixtures.

Vinyl linings are usually easy to put on yourself, although the help of a professional can ensure that the installation is correct and effective.

4. Fill the swimming pool. After the completion of the construction, the rest is to add water! Depending on how eager you are to take your first bath, you can use a hose connected to your water supply system to slowly drain the water, or rent a water truck to fill it up in a shorter time.

Filling a swimming pool with a pipe can be a whole day (or even a whole night). When you rent a water truck, water is distributed to your pool through multiple hoses to fill it up faster.

When filling up your new pool, check for leaking pipe failures or other complications. If you find any problems, please contact the construction contractor to arrange maintenance before using the swimming pool.

5. Treat your pool well with the necessary chemicals. Use the domestic water test kit to test the pH of the water in the swimming pool. Chlorine and other chemicals, such as shock and algaecide, are then added as needed to achieve the recommended level of safe swimming. The ideal pH of swimming pool water is 7.4-7.6, or slightly higher than neutral.

You can buy water test kits anywhere you sell pool supplies.

The exact amount of chlorine you need will depend on the volume of your pool. If you are not sure how much to add, contact the pool maintenance company for assistance.

If you plan to have a salt pool, you will add salt (and the correct proportion of other chemicals) when the pool is full.
