Installation and Operation Instructions for Underwater Lights of Embedded Swimming Pool

Before installing the embedded underwater lights in the swimming pool, the electrician shall make preparations for the following corresponding electrical systems.

1. Ensure that the electrical system and circuit of the swimming pool facilities comply with the current national standards and local codes and regulations. Before installing this lamp, the installation of the corresponding electrical system must be completed by a qualified electrician with a certificate. It is recommended to consult the local construction department to ensure that the electrical system load of the swimming pool is in force.
2. The circuit system of the swimming pool lamp needs to be equipped with GFCI (ground fault current circuit breaker) and appropriate rated current circuit breaker.
3. The position of transformer or junction box shall be at least 300 mm above the horizontal plane and at least 1200 mm from the pool wall.
4. The length of the wire connecting the swimming pool lamp and the transformer should not exceed 30m, otherwise the swimming pool lamp may not work normally.

5. The swimming pool lamp must be installed on the plane wall. It shall not be installed on concave walls, walls with arc radius not less than 3m or irregular walls.
6. The top of the swimming pool lamp shall be at least 450mm below the normal level of the swimming pool.
7. Reserve at least 1500mm long spare wire at the back of the swimming pool lamp to connect the line, or to facilitate the replacement and maintenance in the future. When there is water in the swimming pool, the swimming pool lamp body can be directly taken out to the ground for maintenance or replacement.
8. To achieve synchronization, all pool lights should be correctly connected to the same switch.

The embedded underwater lights in the swimming pool are designed for underwater lighting. The lights must be completely immersed in the water when they are used. All underwater swimming pool lamps are only suitable for 12V or 24V low-voltage power supply according to their own parameters, so the lamps must be connected to a safe low-voltage transformer during installation and operation to avoid electric shock and personal and property losses. Suggestion: install a lamp every 20m, or choose the power of the swimming pool lamp and the number of lamps to be purchased according to the method of configuring 1W (or more) light source every 1m.
