It can be seen from the above requirements that the electrical partition of the swimming pool, the protection level of the swimming pool lights, and the equipotential bonding should be strictly controlled to be safe. The electrical equipment of the swimming pool shall be divided into three zones, and the protection standards specified for different zones are also different. For example, the protection grade in Zone 0 is IPX8, the protection grade in Zone 1 is IPX5, the protection grade in Zone 2 is IPX2 for indoor places, IPX4 for outdoor places, and IPX5 for places that may be cleaned with water spray. The protection grade of lamps used for long-term underwater use must be IP68!
For voltage, only safe ultra-low voltage power supply with nominal voltage not exceeding 12V is allowed in Zone 0, and its safe power supply shall be set outside Zone 2. That is, the voltage of the pool lamp must be below 12V. According to the characteristics of the installation environment, the protection grade is IP68. The lamp shell should be made of corrosion-resistant materials.
