Function of Ventilation System of Natatorium

The main functions of the ventilation system of the indoor swimming pool are as follows.

1. Eliminate a large amount of residual moisture and odor generated in the pool area, shower room, toilet and other auxiliary rooms.

2. In order to ensure the sanitary conditions of the pool water, the method of continuously adding liquid chlorine to the pool water is generally adopted for sterilization, especially for recreational swimming pools. As the chlorine gas generated is constantly emitted into the air of the pool area, endangering human health, the investigation shows that when the content of free residual chlorine reaches 0.3mg/l, the respondents have different degrees of discomfort. Chlorine poisoning accidents occur in indoor swimming pools from time to time, and the chlorine gas emitted into the air of the pool area will also corrode the building structure. Therefore, the chlorine content in the air of the tank area shall not exceed 1X10-6 through the ventilation system.

3. Provide fresh air for people to breathe.

4. The indoor air dew point temperature shall not be too high through the ventilation system to prevent the condensation on the inner surface of the swimming pool and prolong the service life of the building.

It can be seen that the main principle of ventilation in the pool hall of the swimming pool is to quickly discharge the water vapor and the odor that are constantly evaporating on the water surface in the pool area so that they will not interfere with other parts of the building. Especially when most swimming pools are disinfected with chlorine, the service life of buildings will be seriously affected.

Therefore, effective ventilation measures must be taken to continuously discharge the water evaporated in the pool hall, so that the dew point temperature of the air can be controlled within the specified value. The international swimming pool design standard stipulates that the air moisture content in the pool hall is not more than 14g / kg, that is, the air dew point temperature is not higher than 19.5 ℃, so it is very important to carefully calculate the indoor ventilation.
