Copenhagen port water sports center
The indoor swimming pool of the water sports center is composed of brick pyramids, and the outdoor bath extends from the terrace down to the sea. Waterfront has become the foreground and background of major cultural facilities, defining the high-quality open public area of urban life. The focus of design is to create an experience, not just an independent object, but a landscape, art and architecture unified with water.
The pyramid will be in the form of bricks. Some buildings have triangular openings at the bottom to allow light in, while others are completely enclosed with skylights at the top.
This piecemeal roof form echoes the design of adjacent buildings, a series of sloping rooftop halls for fashion shows and other events.
