10 classic modern swimming pool design, beautiful!!!
Modern pool design does not always mean that the pool has recently been built or has all the most technologically advanced features and materials. Modern swimming pool design dates back to California in the 1930s, when wealthy movie stars were able to integrate the landscape into houses suitable for indoor or outdoor lifestyles.
In the early days, the swimming pool usually reflected the family building, supplemented its design, and was not used as an independent function.
1. Four sides and zero sides design
The large 1250 square foot swimming pool with a comprehensive spa has been upgraded to show off its rare four sided zero edge. The raised exterior glass tiles around the pool enhance the zero edge design. The limestone deck, which matches the furnace, provides a hot wire like entrance.
2. Blue Lagoon
The owner wants a resort like swimming pool design, which is a 2600 square meter large swimming pool with facilities including:
a. Wet / dry walking into the grottoes with built-in seats and tables
b. Lots of fire bowls
c. Waterfall
d. A drifting River, surrounded by an island of palm trees
e. Another island is connected to the bridge
f. Tall spa, cliff and fire bowl
g. Sun rack
3. Natural negative edge
This hillside home near the lake has a swimming pool and several custom hot spring areas. A swimming pool and spa on the negative edge are combined by a "Crick" made of river shingles, travertine, glass shingles and travertine.
The stream flows into the pool, surrounding a rest area with a fire pit, in a trap basin below. The water from the spa seems to carve another stream.
4. Tuscan farmhouse swimming pool
Tuscany is no longer the traditional village in the past. After centuries of development, this farmhouse has received modern renewal outdoors. It looks great by mixing the geometric shape with the old world materials.
5. Rendong Grottoes
A group of architects, structural engineers, landscape architects, audiovisual experts and saltwater reef consultants worked together to build the cave. It's no surprise that this exotic escape is really a separate house / cave, in which the facilities mainly include:
a. Go with the 43 foot long slide
b. Salt water pool in cave
c. Kitchen and bar
d. Bathroom and shower
e. Game hall
f. Television
g. Synthetic lawn sits on the roof of the space with three fire pits
6. Santa Monica style
Santa Monica, California, interior designer Katherine Ireland's home and yard reflects her tendency to use vivid colors and textures in her design. Ireland's swimming pool area is personalized with tiles, a coordinated bench, beautiful, casual cushions and pillows.
7. Swimming pool and fire bowl
The challenge of this design, which used to be a 15 acre farm, is to deconstruct the old swimming pool and design new houses near a smaller part of the house so that they all look as if they were built at the same time.
The stone pillars support the arbor connecting the house to the courtyard and pool area, while the pool length pool provides pool seats. Hot pot as the focus, the nearby fire pit provides more seats for larger parties.
8. The pool is quiet
The owner of the customized home made of modern high-end materials wants to build this standard swimming pool in a small space.
This is achieved through a small swimming pool and adjacent ascending negative edge hot springs with small mosaic tiles, creating a calm, blue pair of swimming pools as beautiful as their functions.
9. Reconstruction design of old pond
In a few years, the swimming pool will need to update equipment, surfaces, almost everything else. The owner of the 30-year-old swimming pool wants to keep the simple line, but let the designer get innovative.
Replace bricks with Leuder limestone, date blue and fuchsia tiles with several gray custom designs and cut slender tiles.
10. Design of intersecting swimming pool
Another courtyard with limited space is a challenge for the designer of this swimming pool group. The project can be viewed from several rooms on the second floor, including a vanishing edge swimming pool, spa and children's pool. Color selection looks like a natural pond.
