Why do swimming pool underwater lights use 12V or 24V low voltage?
The underwater lights in the swimming pool are installed underwater and used for lighting or creating an atmosphere. They should not only be waterproof but also prevent electric shock. So the installation of swimming pool lights must be strictly controlled below a safe voltage of 36V that complies with international standards, so their rated working voltage is generally very low, usually 12V/24V. If the underwater lights in the swimming pool leak electricity, the human body will not experience safety accidents due to electric shock.
Because the underwater lights in the swimming pool use 12V or 24V low voltage, the power cannot be very high, basically around 3W-30W. But it uses green LED light source, low power consumption, high brightness, which is very sufficient for underwater lighting in swimming pools, not only energy-saving, but also durable!
Although the underwater lights in the swimming pool are safe at 12V or 24V low voltage, it is recommended to use multiple leakage protection measures in the engineering design to ensure absolute safety.
The lighting fixtures need to undergo strict professional testing, and the waterproof level reaches the highest standard of IP68, ensuring that there is no water or electricity leakage during the shelf life. Be sure to install and wiring with a transformer, and do not directly connect to 220V high-voltage current for use, otherwise it will burn out the lighting fixtures.
