Whirlpool fountain calybdis, Sunderland, UK

This whirlpool fountain is called "Charybdis". Located in Sunderland, UK, it is also the largest whirlpool fountain at present. It looks like an independent water column and a rotating vortex in the middle. In this large circular cylinder, there is a cylinder made of acrylic, so it looks like a vortex

This is an unusually beautiful fountain that you can't see anywhere else. In 2000, water sculptor William sent to create a statue of karibdis for the HiAm hotel in Sunderland, northern England. Charybdis is the name of a siren. You may have seen it in Homer's Odysseus. He was hit by Zeus's lightning and turned into a vortex as the punishment of Hercules's cow. Inspired by this story, Pai built this beautiful fountain.
