What harm does the water in swimming pool have to human body?

The environment of swimming pool has a direct impact on people's health. Bad environment will cause certain damage to our hair, skin and Bai eyes. Skin and hair dryness, red and itchy eyes, tinea pedis and skin allergy are common problems.

Swimming pool disinfectant is an important material to keep the swimming pool clean. Its main component is hypochlorous acid, which can damage the skin, sebum and hair, and make the dermis dry and dehydrated. So the skin and hair will be dry after swimming. Chlorine containing water may irritate the eyes, making them red, itchy and burning.

Some indoor swimming pools have too many people, the circulation system will not be on all the time, and the disinfection of public goods is not complete, which often leads to tinea and other infectious skin, especially tinea pedis.

Skin allergy is a common disease in swimming. People with sensitive constitution will have skin allergic reactions, such as long erythema, papules and pruritus. Some people's bad habits will also make the pool water polluted, such as skin excreta, sweat, nasal mucus and even urination, which will inevitably be brought into the water and become the source of skin allergy. People with sensitive constitution and infants are more susceptible to allergy.

In order to avoid physical injury, corresponding measures can be taken before, during and after swimming.

Before swimming: try to go to the swimming pool with good water quality; choose the swimming pool with less flow; don't swim in special period, such as cold, menstrual period, etc.

When swimming: carry certain swimming equipment: such as diving goggles can effectively prevent bacteria from entering the eyes, prevent red eye disease, wearing swimming cap can protect hair from hypochlorite damage, etc.; pay attention to sun protection: avoid swimming when the sun is strongest; avoid a long time of exercise; apply waterproof sunscreen on the whole body half an hour before swimming to make up water before and after exercise.
