The swimming pool of NOA studio, mount kronpratz
Hotel Hubertus is a resort for skiers and hikers. It is located at the foot of the Kronplatz mountains, surrounded by an impressive view of dolomite. The biggest feature of the building is that it has a cantilever swimming pool, with a cantilever of 17 meters, a total length of 25 meters and a height of 12 meters above the ground. The swimming pool is set in a larger structure with slightly raised sides instead of a barrier blocking the view, and the front is a sloping glass wall.
NOA studio has installed a glass plate at the bottom of the cantilever swimming pool, and the glass opening under the structure provides relaxing holidaymakers with the feeling of floating - Weightlessness between heaven and earth, allowing swimmers to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
The swimming pool is built with anthracite colored stones to hide the sense of boundary, eliminate the gap between the swimming pool and the landscape, and create the impression of water flowing into nothing, disappearing between the swimming pool and the landscape.
