La Tona fountain, palace of Versailles in France

The palace of Versailles, which has enjoyed all kinds of gorgeous words, never lacks bright spots, and the latona fountain must have a seat. Latona fountain is located in the center of the back garden of Versailles. The design of the fountain is inspired by Greek mythology. It is said that latona was loved by Zeus and gave birth to twins Apollo and Diana, but was bullied by the farmer. So Zeus came down to earth to avenge the shame of the mother and son and turned the farmers into frogs and lizards. Latona fountain has five floors, and the most central position is latona, Diana and Apollo. The fountain expands layer by layer from top to bottom, and each layer is surrounded by frogs with open mouths. When people stopped to watch, they were not only amazed by the luxurious design of the fountain, but also surprised by the fairy tales it contained.

Latona fountain, inspired by Ovid's metamorphosis. It depicts the story of Apollo and Diana's mother latona, who begged Jupiter to avenge her in order to protect her children from the insult of Lycia farmers. God did justice by turning the inhabitants into frogs and lizards.
