How many protection levels are there for underwater light?
The national standard stipulates that the dustproof grade of lamps and lanterns can be divided into 6 grades. Among them, the sixth level is the highest, and the dustproof grade of LED underwater lamp should reach 6 levels, and the symbol is IP6X.
2. Waterproof level
The national standard provides that the waterproof level of lamps is divided into 8 grades. The sixth level is water splashing, seventh stage water tight type and eighth stage pressurized water tight type. The eighth grade is the highest, and the LED water level should be up to level 8, with the symbol IPX8.
In view of the above two requirements, the dust-proof grade of Guoguang Green Energy LED underwater lamp is 6, and the waterproof grade is 8. Its label symbol is IP68.
Specific protection level, need to test side can draw conclusions, common LED is divided into IP20, IP40, IP65, IP68, if it is LED underwater lamp, at least to IP65 above, the higher the IP level, the safer, if the product quality is good, IP65 can meet.
