Configuration of water pump and sand filter
Filter sand tank and water pump are inseparable brothers in the normal water treatment project. They can be seen in many industries such as swimming pool engineering. There will be a little problem in the configuration of filter sand cylinder and water pump. We need to analyze and solve these small problems.
1. Power matching of filter sand tank and water pump. It should be emphasized that the flow parameters of the filter sand cylinder are actually of little reference value. Because the actual filtering capacity of the sand tank is related to the flow of the water pump, the amount of sand in the sand tank, the thickness of the sand and other factors. And in the process of filtering sand cylinder working, there is also a flow rate change from large to small. Therefore, strictly speaking, the filter sand cylinder has no flow parameter. The larger the flow of the pump in front of it is, the larger the flow of its outlet water is; the smaller the sand load is, the larger the flow of its outlet water is; the coarser the sand particles are, the larger the flow of its outlet water is. Under the same effluent flow requirements, the larger the filter sand tank , the better the configuration, the finer the sand particles are, and the higher the precision.
2. The difference between pushing out filter sand tank and side out filter sand tank. In fact, there is no difference in their internal structure. All functions are the same, the only difference is the location of the head of the sand tank. Because of the low installation space characteristics of some customers, it is only suitable for the side outlet filter sand cylinder. Or because the side outlet filter sand cylinder is more convenient for manual operation. But the price of ejecting filter sand cylinder is relatively low because of mold development and other reasons. This makes customers generally choose to eject the filter sand tank.
3. Location of the water pump. In addition to the self-priming pumps sold on the market. Generally, centrifugal pumps have no suction head in theory. When installing, the position of the water pump shall be lower than the level of the treated water body.
4. Flatness of the ground between equipment. When the sand tank is loaded with sand, the overall weight is very large. At this time, the ground on which the sand tank is placed is required to maintain a certain level. Because the base of the filter sand tank is designed as a very flat ground. If the ground between the equipment is not flat after installation, the filter sand base will be deformed.
5. Antifreeze in winter. When the filter sand tank is not used in winter, all the water in it should be drained through the lower drain valve. In order to prevent water from freezing and expanding in the cylinder body and bursting the sand cylinder body.
